Program: Capacity building on gender-based violence
General objective: Guarantee the safety and protection of women and ensure respect for the rights of women and girls relating to the repression of gender-based violence.
Activities to be carried out:
Organize refresher training workshops for women leaders on the rights and issues of their protection, in accordance with the national and international legal framework relating to women’s rights;
Raise awareness among the entire population about understanding gender.
Strengthen the integration of the gender dimension in the areas of politics, socioeconomics, in the management of public affairs, in the peaceful resolution of conflicts on all levels.
Organize a day of reflection, exchange, and debate with heads of schools, political-administrative authorities and parents on the problem of the exclusion of young girls and unmarried mothers from school attendance.
Help empower women and young girls in providing loans to start small businesses and creating girls’ clubs.
